Calvin M. Johnson, M.D., founded the Hedgewood Surgical Center in 1988 to create an office and surgical center setting that reflects his values and aesthetic sense. The Hedgewood Surgical Center is a fully licensed certified ambulatory surgery center. Dr. Johnson's office and the Hedgewood Surgical Center are located in a restored Victorian home on St. Charles Avenue overlooking the Garden District of New Orleans. The refined, inviting atmosphere provides patients with a calm setting in which to explore facial plastic surgery.

The suites were designed for patients who wish to recover in a private, medically supervised facility with the availability of round the clock care.
